I’ve been keeping myself busy these last few weeks by taking a simple flower arrangement class. Because what else is there to do?
A few things I discovered (or already knew but was in denial) about myself during this whole course: I can be such a perfectionist, and I have the tendency to want to be the best in the class. Thus creating unnecessary pressure and stress to myself. It wasn’t even a graded class nor was I trying to have a career in the flower arrangement industry.
That was just me being me.
But I did enjoy the creativity and challenges. And the fresh flowers. My allergies were not a fan, but fresh flowers just lifts the mood a bit. I loved the process of coming up with ideas, choosing color palettes, learning different flowers. It’s like when I write down what’s in my head. Creating my visions has always been my art. Here are some of the arrangements I created.
