For a quick layover in London, you can take the train to Waterloo Station from either Heathrow or Gatwick. The London Eye and Big Ben are both within walking distance from the train station. Lucky for me, the weather cooperated this time around.
Sunshine and blue skies make a great backdrop for the London Eye.
For my second London layover, I opted to take the train and walked around central London since I took the London Big Bus Tour the last time. (See London Layover Guide)
To get the best photo, walk across the bridge to get a full view of the London Eye from across the Thames River. London is a great city for photography enthusiasts.
