St. Thomas is a popular Caribbean cruise destination. It is widely known for its beautiful beaches, white sand and clear water. The island’s capital is Charlotte Amalie. It is where the airport and cruise port are located. Its port is one of the busiest ports of call for cruise ships in the Caribbean. The city is also renowned for its pirates history, such as Bluebeard and Blackbeard. In fact a popular tourist attraction is Blackbeard’s Castle which is now considered a US National Historic Landmark.
Since I was on a cruise and only had a day to spare in St. Thomas, I just had to spend it at the beach. I did, however, was able to walk around Charlotte Amalie and enjoyed its scenery.

Coki Beach
Coki beach is one of the popular beaches in St. Thomas for both locals and tourists alike. Thankfully, the beach wasn’t too crowded when I went. I guess most of the cruise crowd went someplace else!
