Barcelona is an architect’s city. When you walk its streets, you are easily transported into an eclectic mix of Modernism, Baroque and Gothic Art. One noted architect in particular dominates Barcelona’s streets.
Antonio Gaudi’s legacy can be seen all over the city. He is probably the most influential and well known architect in Spain. His unique style shaped most of Catalan’s modernism. Gaudí’s work was influenced by his passions in life: architecture, nature, and religion.
Gaudi’s Barcelona is an interesting view of Spain. Some of its best known landmarks were Gaudi’s masterpieces. From the famous La Sagrada Familia to Park Guell, down to the lamp posts of Plaza Real. Barcelona’s favorite son left an imprint that has attracted millions of tourist all over the world.
